Accelerate's management team has extensive business and industrial experience with Hi-Tech companies, as successful entrepreneurs and senior managers of start-up companies, and as private investment bankers.

An advisory board, consisting of leading figures from the industrial, scientific, and business communities will advise the company.

Dr. Menachem Genut has over 15 years of experience in Hi-Tech, as a senior scientist, an entrepreneur of start up companies and as senior consultant to VC's and Start-Up Companies.

For the past 10 years Dr. Genut has been one of the founders and leaders of two successful startup companies- "ORAMIR Semiconductor Equipment Ltd." and "Wireless Methods Ltd.", in which he served as VP of R&D, VP of Business Development and CEO. At Oramir he developed the company's core technology - a Laser based machine for advanced Semiconductor Fabrication, and was also deeply involved in Business Development, company's VC financing, and Marketing. As CEO of "Wireless Methods" he was responsible for the company's private financing process, the protection of its Intellectual Property and active management of the R&D group.
In August 2000 Dr. Genut joined Mr. Feuerstein, to found Accelerate Technology & Business Ltd - an investment firm concentrating on technological enterprises.

Dr. Menachem Genut holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science, from the Technion IIT in Haifa. His Ph.D. dissertation was in the field of GaAs devices. Following his academic studies, he took up a two-year postdoctoral position at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA, working on Reliability of Semiconductor Devices. This was followed by an R&D position, in the field of Photovoltaic Cells, at the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Dr. Genut holds 10 Patents in Semiconductor Processing and related technologies and is an invited speaker at international scientific conferences. He has published over 20 scientific articles and is the co-Author of the book "The Start-Upist Guide" (With Aviva Rosen-Genut, Globes Publication House, 2001).

Dr. Genut is a Senior Officer (in reserve) in the Israeli Ministry of Defense, working on Opto-Electronic projects.

Mr. Feuerstein has over 30 years of business experience as a senior economist and entrepreneur, both in the banking sector and in the Hi-Tech industry.

In the past 8 years, Mr. Feuerstein has been involved, via his consulting company, in raising funds for Hi- Tech companies, transitional management services, business consultation services and capital management. He is the Acting Executive Director of the following multinational organizations: The International Center for the Enhancement of Learning Potential and The Hadassah Wizo Canada Research Institute.

In August 2000 Mr. Feuerstein joined Dr. Genut, to found Accelerate Technology & Business Ltd.

For 15 years, Mr. Feuerstein served as Head of the Internal Auditing Division of the Union Bank of Israel, and later in the position of Assistant General Manager and Deputy Head of the Business Division.
Before taking the position with Union Bank, Mr. Feuerstein served as a senior official in the Israeli State Comptroller Office, where he was responsible for the activities of the Ministry of Defense and other defense divisions.

Aharon Feuerstein studied at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, for the BA and MA degrees in Economics. Additionally, he has a diploma in Information Systems Analysis from the Technion IIT in Haifa.

Dr. Mordchai Ben-Porat is Accelerate's Chemical and Materials Engineering Analyst. Dr. Ben-Porat has over 20 years of experience in the Israeli High Tech Industry. He is the head of the Quality Assurance Team of the Department of Chemistry, at the Israeli Government Research Laboratories in Tel-Aviv. Dr. Ben-Porat is an expert in Printed Circuit Boards Fabrication, Thick Film Hybrids, SMT and Thin film Microcircuits. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Technion IIT, Haifa.

Dr. Alex Lahav is Accelerate's Semiconductor Technology and Solid State Physics Analyst. Dr. Lahav has over 20 years of experience in the areas of Electronic Materials, Silicon and GaAs Processing, Flat Panel Displays, Device Reliability, Optical Thin Films, and Crystal Growth. Dr. Lahav was a member of the technical staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories, USA, working on the development of III-V Compound semiconductor devices. In Israel, Dr. Lahav was involved in several R&D and production projects in LUZ Industries, Elbit, Tower Semiconductor, and Motorola Semiconductor. Dr. Lahav has a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the Technion IIT, Haifa.

Mr. Yeshayahu Pri-Chen is Accelerate's Business & Finance Analyst. Mr. Pri-Chen has over 30 years of experience as a senior economist and analyst in leading Israeli companies. He holds a MBA degree with excellence from Tel-Aviv University and a BA in Economics and Sociology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Ms. Aviva Rosen-Genut is Accelerate's Managerial, HR and Organizational specialist. Aviva Rosen, a columnist at Globes, writing about HR and management subjects, published two books: "Management in the year 2000" (Liraz Publishing House, 1995), and "Talking to the Public: PR as part of the Management process" (Pecker Publishing House, 2000). Her third book "The Starting Point - A manual for high-tech entrepreneurs and managers" (With Dr. Menachem Genut, Globes Publication House) has been published in the beginning of 2001. Ms. Aviva Rosen has an M.Sc in organizational behavior from Tel Aviv University. Additionally, she is a Ph.D. candidate in Business Management, specializing in Hi-Tech culture, organizational changes and HR processes, including recruitment and retention.
